The Estate and the Porcinai's garden

A slice of heaven far a few kilometres from Gubbio. This is the ideal place where to discover colours and scents of the land, comforted by the warm and genuine hospitality of Umbria.

The Villa, purchased in 1941 as a summer residence of the owners,  is surrounded by a forest of over 450 hectares, in which striking paths lead through natural lakes, green meadows and trees. A land full of hills, so to maintain its charm, giving guests the experience of living and enjoy the spectacle offered by nature.

A philosophy based on environmental sustainability has led in the years to maintain the flora and fauna natural biodiversity and to enhance the organic colture.
In the centre of the estate is located the wonderful ninetheen century Villa, designed by the Florentine architect Nello Baroni which overtops the lush Italian style gardens performed by the famous architect Porcinai

Walking along the paths that branch out in the woods of the property it’s possible to enjoy the truffle hunting, that among these hills find fertile ground; but the culinary surprises that Tenuta di Fassia offer to its guests are many: a rich organic garden produces in any season genuine vegetables that you can buy or taste during the holiday trough the healthy and savory cooking in our Restaurant “I Germogli”.

The large and well groomed building of Germogli, accommodate also the Museum of country civilization, the multifunctional room, the yoga space and the training centre.
